Recent Workings

With rebuilding the hut in 2000 any necessary furniture for the new
hut was built by men of the section or bought. But the old racks
for the dormitories remained in the rooms of the side-building, the
old Hausstattalm. These racks are only 80cm broad and 180cm long.
The mattresses there are rather old.
To renew all that stuff and so reach the standard of the new hut is
the goal of the recent work. Like before for the outfit of the new
hut all carpenter work is done by the former president Heiner Haack
and his team of higly qualified carpenters. For the benefit of
future visitors one had to stand some noise of the machines some
days for some hours.
Use of Photovoltaic Cells
Here is intended to declare and show that since the year 2004 the hut uses photovoltaic cells to support the capacity of the block-heating-generator in loading the batteries. The area on the roof which looks to the south is proper for that use.
Ropeway works
Over and over again it is necessary to maintain the ropeway and
its pylons.
